Article: 57 Ways To Get More Physical Activity Daily

It is easy to underestimate the amount of ‘fitness’, movement, flexibility, and exercise we can get throughout the day with some change of perspective and attention.

We often tend to think of our 30 or 60 minute walk or gym time is our only exercise time. I think it makes sense to integrate movement into more of our life!

This article suggests 57 different ways to move your body more throughout the day. Do any of them look like something you can utilize?

Survey: Two-Minutes to Help Us if You Use Insurance Here

This survey is only for those of you that currently have our office submit claims toward your out-of-network insurance. It should take less than two minutes and completing it would be very helpful! Thank you in advance!

Click here for the survey.

Parking Update in Front of Thrive

It’s OK to park on the street!

The construction workers let us know you can park on Madison Road by our office if space is available for your adjustments even though the signs say not to park here!

(For 60 or 90 minute massage appointments please use the lot across the street).

Of course, remember we have free parking directly across the street from the office in the lot.

Duke Energy will be in front of the office along Madison Road for many months as they replace an underground electrical service line.

Holiday Gift Ideas and Black Friday Shopping Options

Are you looking for some ideas for gifts? Check out this list of our recommended people, providers, and services for some ideas. In particular, gift cards for our talented massage therapists on the second floor make excellent options:

Another gift option to consider is a Shakti Mat. I use my mat nearly every day for a few minutes. The mat and the accompanying neck cushion are fantastic. I have the black version, the more aggressive option. You can always place a thin sheet or t shirt on it until you build up the tolerance to use it.

Finally, a couple of my favorite books that I have read this year:
