August Sale on Pillo-Pedic Pillows at the Office

People typically underestimate how important it is to maintain proper spinal alignment while sleeping. Fitful nights and stiff, sore necks upon waking often are often brought about due to a pillow or pillows that cradle the head in an awkward position for several hours.

Your pillow should keep your spine in a neutral position from the upper back through the neck if you are lying on your side. If you are sleeping on your back, the pillow should support a healthy curve in your neck. Most pillows unfortunately force the upper neck and skull to be pushed forward and up, which exacerbates the poor health consequences of forward head position.

If you think you may need a new pillow, take advantage of $10 off our Pillo-Pedic Pillows this month. They are now available for $50 rather than $60. There are two styles of pilllows and various sizes that we can help you select so that whether you are a side sleeper, back sleeper, or a combination… we can find the right pillow for you.

Cholesterol: How important is this number?

Most of us are bombarded with suggestions from pharmaceutical companies, health insurance companies, and doctors  to get our cholesterol checked. “What’s your number?” If it only was this simple!

Unfortunately cholesterol has been vilified in recent years. Cholesterol is a vital nutrient and important for our bodies to work optimally. This brief article from a MD in Oklahoma reveals his frustrations with the epic, mythical importance of the cholesterol ‘number’.

Check out the infographic below to learn more about cholesterol, thanks to Dr. Mercola.
