New office is now open in Oakley!
Our new space offers more room than either of our previous locations. We look forward to serving you at the new space! There is free parking available in the lot directly across the street from the office. You can get directions from Interstate 71 to the office here.
We will be participating in the Oakley After Hours on Friday, September 13th from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Come check out the new office and other Oakley businesses.
In the picture to the right, you see the front of the office with a navy awning. Within a few weeks you will notice a bright yellow awning and our new logo.
Open House and Grand Re-Opening set for Sat. October 12th
More details will come soon, but we want to invite all of you to our open house and grand re-opening on Saturday October 12th! It is because of all our wonderful clients that we were able to create this new space to better serve you.
There will be food, fun, drinks and prizes so stay tuned for more details and timing.
Wellness Plans for Individuals, Couples and Families
Did you know we offer monthly plans for adjustments? We securely store your credit or debit card info and then charge you once a month based on the number of visits you, or your family, utilize. Discounts increase as the number of monthly visits increase so that it is affordable for couples and families to stay well adjusted. Decisions, Decisions…Vitamins: Flintstones versus Whole Food Standard Process
This eye-opening article educates consumers about ingredients actually contained in popular vitamins. Parents likely would not knowingly allow their growing children to ingest GMO corn starch, hydrogenated soybean oil, or coal tar artificial coloring, among others, yet these are common ingredients found in mainstream children’s vitamins.
We prefer whole food vitamins like Catalyn from Standard Process. Chewable Catalyn is a great choice for kids. The body responds favorably to supplements containing real food rather than synthetic chemicals.

Are You Sabotaging Your Salads?
Bottled salad dressings contain many bizarre ingredients, many of which are the antithesis of good health. Making your own is easier than you think and doing so will cut down on your intake of artificial ingredients, preservatives, and sugars typically hidden in store-bought dressings’ ingredients lists. Thanks to Sally Fallon and Mary Enig, authors of Nourishing Traditions, for the following recipe. A tasty, basic vinaigrette that you can enjoy as is, or add herbs and spices of your choice for variation.
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard, smooth or grainy
- 2 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon raw wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon expeller-expressed flax oil
Dip a fork into a jar of mustard and transfer about 1 teaspoon to a small bowl. Add vinegar and mix around. Add olive oil in a thin stream, stirring all the while with the fork, until oil is well mixed or emulsified. Add flax oil and use immediately.

Recipe of the Month: Bacon-Wrapped Pepper Poppers
This is a great recipe to snack on while watching football this fall! We love finger food that tastes great and is easy to make! Here’s a recipe from OV Crossfit destined to please spicy and mild palates alike.
You will need: Preheated grill or oven, toothpicks.
- 1 pound nitrate-free bacon (cut the package in half so each piece is half the length)
- 1 jar of whole pepperoncinis (cut the stems off and slice down the side)
- 3 chicken breasts or 6 thighs (marinated in your favorite paleo-friendly hot sauce and cut into bite-sized chunks)
While the grill or oven is preheating, marinate the chunked chicken breasts or thigh pieces in hot sauce.
To assemble, take a piece of chicken, wrap inside a pepperoncini pepper, then wrap one piece of bacon around the pepper. REPLACE toothpick through assembled popper. Continue until the ingredients are all used.
Grill poppers on low-medium heat or bake at 375 degrees until cooked. Be sure to turn several times.
