Standard Process 21-day Purification Program

Are you looking for a great way to 'reset' your health? Maybe you would like to:

  • improve your health, energy, sleep and nutrition
  • lose weight
  • drop dependence on sugar or caffeine
  • improve blood sugar, cholesterol and blood pressure
  • join a group of people also making a 21-day commitment to better health habits.

Join us for the Standard Process 21-day Purification Program in January!

The purification program is designed to give your digestive system the nutrients and rest that it needs to heal and improve function. You will eat healthy meals throughout program (it's not a fast) and also take several Standard Process supplements to help your digestive system.View my video for more details.

I will be participating again this year as I like to give my body a healthy reset to start the year. Last year around 35 people participated in the January program last year with great results.  Click here to read some of the experiences people shared with me.

We will have a kickoff class at Thrive on Thursday, January 5th at 7:00 PM. At this class we will go over the details to insure your success.

We are taking orders now for the purification kits. The total cost for the program is $209 + tax. We will need your order by Dec. 19th in order to have the kit ready for you on January 5th. Email or call us to sign up and get started or to ask any questions.

You are also welcome to attend the class to learn more and we can order kits to ship to the office or directly to your house within a couple days should you decide to join us. If you are unable to attend the class, you may still participate. We have tips and advice we can email you so you can start on your own.

Vaxxed: The Movie

Dina and I watched the movie, Vaxxed: From Cover-Up to Catastrophe, a couple of weeks ago. You can watch the trailer here.

The movie details scientists at the CDC manipulating data concerning the safety, or lack of safety, of the MMR vaccine.

Whether you are pro-vaccine or anti-vaccine (or somewhere in the middle), this movie brings to light the difficulty all of us have in making decisions when we cannot trust the people who are entrusted with testing the safety of our vaccines and medications.

I am a strong proponent of personal choice for all our health care decisions. When there is a personal risk to a procedure or action, there must be a personal choice.

Salt Matters

Salt may be found in nature but your average table salt is anything but natural. Table salt is processed, bleached and added chemicals to keep it from caking. This removes many of the minerals originally found in salt and makes it harder to metabolize.

This doesn't mean you need to have bland, salt-free, meals. Instead, Dr. Jockers recommends using pink salt.  Often called Himalayan Salt, pink salt can also come from a variety of other regions. Pink salt does not raise your blood pressure and has trace essential minerals that help regulate fluid balance in cells.

Is Posture a Choice?

Everyone thinks that the perfect posture means your back is flat and you stand up straight.  However Movement Specialist Chandler Stevens says you can't just choose to have perfect posture. Instead, Stevens says you need to think differently about your posture.

Posture is based on a complex relationship between your bones, gravity and your nervous system controlling your muscles, ligaments and tendons. Because of this, your body works on "Posture Autopilot". To change your posture you must become aware of what forces you put on your body and what how you respond when your body is in a familiar position. Stevens shares a video where he discusses these issues and provides suggestions for thought exercises to help you rethink posture.

Recipe of the Month: Braised Fall Greens with Apples

These Braised Fall Greens with Apples, shared on Magnolia Days, is a great side to go with your Thanksgiving meal.  Though the recipe calls for honey, you can easily leave it out and the dish is still delicious.
