Allyson Trebbi, LAC
After graduating from Ursuline Academy, Allyson began her journey westward. First, to Saint Louis to complete her BA in psychology from Saint Louis University. At this time alternative and complementary medicine was beginning to gain mainstream attention. This struck a chord with her so she continued further west to San Diego to pursue her interest in this growing field. She became a Holistic Health Practitioner and began to work developing an integrative health center with a leading MD in San Diego. Through this process she was introduced to the medical usage of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She was so impressed that she then began a 4 year Master¹s Degree program.
She completed over 3000 hours of study and 1000 hours of internships, including an international internship at Chengdu University in China, and at Children¹s Hospital in San Diego. After completing her Master¹s of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) and beginning her practice, Allyson was blessed with the birth of her first daughter and the call of family became stronger.
